July 20th-Enzoni

The enzoni is a negroni variation. This might be obvious by the name, but I would argue on that. I know it has 2 of the main ingredients in a negroni but does habving gin and camoari make it a negroni variation oin its own? The enzoni even includses citrus juice which calls the negroni aspect even more into question.. Its kind of like a negroni/sour hybrid with grapes muddled in. I will admiot I’m not crazy on the name as I hate when a bartender names a drink off themself.

This drink was made by Vincenzo Errico at Milk and Honey. He is also famous for the cocktail the Red Hook. I’ve talked about Milk and Honey before so I won’t bore you by treading old ground, but I will say that if you are becoming a bartender, there is no other bar that produced more modern classics than that one.
