July 23-Old Cuban
This cocktail is what my grandmother describes herself as. This is truly a brilliant cocktail that answers a question I didn;’t knmow I needed answers to. That question is whast if a mojito became a champagne cocktail. This cocktail is also widely viewed as Audrey Saunders’s best. This was made in 2004 around the time of the Pegu Club. She is also known for the classicsa the French Pearl and Little Italy. Each of which experienced their own time in the spotlight and I’m, surprised neither of them made this list. Although if there was one of hers that should have made it this high it is the Old Cuban.
